Child Safety Standards
Last updated November 5, 2026
Top Pick Topic is a social app for adults 18 and over. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards apply to everyone who uses Top Pick Topic and to everything posted in it: topics, comments, profile pictures and usernames.
What is not allowed
- Any image, video, drawing, text or computer-generated content that shows or describes the sexual abuse or sexual exploitation of a child, or that sexualises a child.
- Grooming: contacting, befriending or manipulating a child for sexual purposes, or asking a child for sexual images or meetings.
- Sextortion: threatening to share intimate images of a child, or of anyone who was a child when the image was made.
- Trafficking, selling or advertising children for sexual purposes.
- Sharing, asking for, or linking to any of the above, including “jokes” and “just asking”.
- Accounts for anyone under 18. Top Pick Topic is adults only.
How we keep children off the app
- Everyone gives their date of birth when signing up, and accounts are only created for people 18 or older.
- Members can report anyone they believe is under 18. When we confirm someone is under 18, we delete their account.
How to report
- In the app: on any topic, comment or member, tap Report, then choose Puts a child at risk or Member may be under 18. Child-safety reports go to the top of our moderators’ list.
- By email: support@toppicktopic.com with the subject “Child safety”. Please don’t attach the images themselves; describe where they are and we will find them.
If a child is in danger right now, call the police. In Jamaica, call 119, or the 24-hour child abuse reporting hotline, 211. Elsewhere, call your local emergency number.
What we do when we find it
- We remove the content from view as soon as we know about it, at the latest within 24 hours of a report.
- We ban the account responsible, so it can no longer post, vote or comment.
- We keep a record of what was found, for law enforcement, without sharing it with anyone else.
- We report it to the authorities: in Jamaica, the police’s Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA); and internationally, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline.
- We cooperate with law enforcement investigations, as the law allows.
Following the law
We comply with the child safety laws of Jamaica and of the other places where Top Pick Topic is available, and with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards policy.
